Roger Nelson PhD
He is the Founder and Director of the Global Consciousness Project (GCP), which was originally created in the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) Lab at Princeton University in 1997. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Noetic Sciences in California (USA), and the author of “Connected: The emergence of global consciousness” (2019). His research focuses on mental interactions, anomalous information transfer, and effects of individuals and groups on physical systems.

He studied Physics at the University of Rochester (USA) and earned a PhD in Experimental Psychology from New York University (USA).

He was a Professor of Psychology at Johnson State College (USA), and in 1980, he joined the PEAR lab to coordinate research until 2002. He is a Council Member of the Society for Scientific Exploration, serving as an associate Editor of its journal.
